This is a finely Hand Knotted Ghashgai Rug. It has a natural pile of Wool fibers, on a cotton foundation. A beautiful Tribal design in an elongated prayer rug pattern. Woven in Iran, the dominant colors are Navy and Watermellon. Note the beautiful stylized animal motifs throughout.
